Ghost Veil
20 of 80 diapositive slides, 2015
Ghost Veil is a minimal intervention in to 80 photographs selected from the fortepan image archive, which is part of the Open Society Archives (OSA) Budapest. The intervention covers the monuments and public sculptural works in the selection of images that where taken in the second half of the 20th century Eastern Europe. Ghost Veil refers on the one hand to the occurrence in media devices caused by signal interference when a duplicate image is super-imposed on top of the main image. On the other hand, to the unveiling of monuments and the transition that happens between the covered and uncovered statue.
